Do I have to wear a face covering when training at Le Sport Health & Fitness?

Members only have to wear a face covering on entry, but need to remove it for identification purposes at reception. Whilst exercising at Le Sport you do not need to wear a face covering as the WHO recommends against wearing one. How have Le Sport Health & Fitness adapted to minimise COVID-19 risk?

We have changed our opening hours during the week to allow for a thorough midday clean.

We have hand sanitisers in every room, as well as anti viral wipes and spray stations for members to clean their equipment after use.

We have ensured all equipment is adequately spaced out to provide the safest possible training environment for everyone.

We have also added 25% more gym floor space to make sure you can train at Le Sport safely and confidently.

We have excluded water fountains from general use at this time, so please bring your own as we cannot offer refills. Bottles of water are available to purchase at reception.

We are only taking card/contactless payment.

We have also temporarily closed the saunas.

Are Le Sport Health & Fitness accepting new members?

Yes we are currently accepting new members, although we are only accepting card payments at this time.

What are the opening times at Le Sport Health & Fitness?

Our up-to-date opening times can be viewed at the bottom of every page on our website.

You do not need to book a time to visit us, unless you’re playing squash or wanting a PT session.

What are the membership options at Le Sport Health & Fitness?

We have a number of monthly direct debit membership options, as well as pay-as-you-go memberships for temporary/holiday visitors. You will just need to bring ID, proof of current address and a credit/debit card.

**We will not be accepting guests from areas in Tier 3**

Is there a joining fee for Le Sport Health & Fitness?

There are two different joining fees which cover your gym induction and admin fee to get your direct debit set up. Check out our ‘Membership’ section for which one is relevant to you.

Can I have my gym induction on the day I sign up?

We cannot guarantee same-day instructor led gym inductions, but this depends on availability. We do have a virtual induction option, for those who are experienced gym users.

Will we be able to use the locker and shower facilities?

Our changing rooms, showers and lockers will still be available for use as social distancing can be safely maintained. Sanitising wipes are available after locker use.

Can I book personal training or classes at Le Sport Health & Fitness?

You can book individual PT sessions with our qualified instructors at reception or over the phone (01492 547046). We are unable to take multiple bookings at this time.

Unfortunately we are not yet able to offer classes, but we will be implementing a staggered reintroduction of these from September onwards. Follow us on social media for the most up-to-date announcements.

Can I play squash or racketball at Le Sport Health & Fitness?

Our squash court is available for bookings, but please click here for the current guidance set out by Squash Wales and WAG.

At this time, this means only members of the same household (or extended household) can play full-court squash or racketball.

Socially distanced coaching is available and can be booked at reception.
